Simulation Analysis on Flow Field of Paint Mist Recovery with Single Nozzle for Ship Outer Panel Spraying Robot

In this paper, we design a kind of negative pressure vacuum recovery hood, arranged at the front spray gun nozzle by CFD simulation; addresses paint mist pollution problem robot spraying on outer plate ship, and is center hood. Three hood schemes are designed as follows: Scheme A, hemispherical with diameter 1.2 m; B, 1.6 C, 2.0 m. The suction holes three hoods differently. Firstly, mathematical model jet for case 0.48 mm was established, established flow field verified to be feasible through simulation analysis experimental comparison. Secondly, detailed discussion process conducted focusing A. During it found that: air velocity inlet surface kinetic energy had large impact effect, so necessary try further improve structure Finally, B C shows that > A in terms effect. It can seen use shipyard robotic better results, which provides theoretical scheme shipyards achieve anti-fouling soon possible.
